Meet Zoey!

I still remember the day when I first met Zoey. I started volunteering in September of 2016 and was lucky enough to be in charge of cat duty on Wednesday nights. A few months of volunteering side by side with another volunteer, I was given my own key to the shelter. Every Wednesday, Zoey was the first cat that would greet me once I went into the Great Room. Zoey has a wonderful presence about her, and acted as the hostess of the Great Room at the shelter with how inviting and polite she is. During that time, I didnt know Zoeys name so I just gave her the nickname of Miss Polite Cat, because she was just that, super polite! She has never been pushy or demanding, and has always been super sweet. Zoey is the type of cat who enjoys being by your side all the time, watching what youre doing, and she also enjoys helping you whenever possible. Shes not a cat that uses her claws to display affection, or to get your attention, and she enjoys being picked up. Zoey hasnt met anyone she doesnt like, but she does do best with older children. She minds her own business and is tolerant of other cats, but would do best in a household with no other cats, or cats who have the same personality as hers- laid back, sweet and not pushy/demanding.
